During the festival season we can’t forget to make sure that while we are styling our hair and getting ready to have fun in the sun that we are keeping our hair moisturized. I recreated a look this past weekend that was inspired by Cicely Tyson for some festival inspiration.

Protective styling has been my go to style for the past few months. However, simply putting my hair in a protective style is not where I stopped. I prepped my hair for this style and when I took it out it was super soft.

Steps I took to style my hair:

Step 1: Washed me hair with Tropic Isle Living Strong Root shampoo and conditioner.

Step 2: I added Tropic Isle Living Coco Rosemary Head to Toe Oil throughout my hair. This helps with hair growth as well as moister. PS, it can also be used for the body as well.

Step 3: I save the best for last; I used my favorite product and rain it through my hair. The Tropic Isle Living daily leave in conditioner mist. This gave me shine, moister and extra softness.

Step 4: I use my denman brush and brush my hair into a slick down ponytail. Make sure that your hair is in a bun while wearing this style , your ends are protected and all of the amazing product that you added to your hair is sitting in while you have fun in the sun.
